You know those TV makeover shows where they take a unassuming wall flower and turn her (or him) into a head turning stunner ? Well, the inside of this house is a bit like that. The exterior is your classic three storey town house in a side street that I have walked past most days of the week. Turn the key and the interior decoration and up dated finish is a great lesson in how what goes on inside more than makes up for its ordinary outside appearance.
The flagstone entrance leads directly into a beautifully renovated kitchen with fitted units and built in appliances. The black slate floor ups the style stakes. The lounge is just off from the dining area and includes a fireplace with wood burning stove, although the house has oil fired central heating too. The ground floor has a utility area and stairs leading down to a cellar. The first floor is wonderfully light. The wooden floors have benefited from a white wash of paint and off the landing are three double bedrooms, the master bedroom having an en suite with walk in shower and WC.
