We all know that the perfect house does not really exist but this one comes pretty close to meeting many ideals of house hunters; it has no work to do, a manageable garden, village location, some traditional features and two bathrooms.
The house has a formal hallway although there are French doors into the kitchen too. The house is tiled throughout with carpets in the bedrooms. The kitchen has modern wood units and, like the rest of the property, is light and spacious. There is room for a dining table in the centre of the kitchen and to the rear is a useful utility room and downstairs WC. The lounge is just under 40m² so plenty of room for big sofas in front of the wood burning stove and a computer area too. Upstairs is a wide landing off which are three double bedrooms. There is both a smart bathroom, a separate shower room and a dressing room off one of the bedrooms.
The outside space is all enclosed behind a stone wall and gates. There are no outbuildings but room for a garage if you felt you needed one. The garden is mainly lawn and includes a well.
The property is five minutes drive from the market town of Chef Boutonne which has places to eat out, two supermarkets and schools and colleges. The city of Poitiers is under an hour away with its international air and train links.
