This recently updated house is located at the centre of a quiet hamlet. After I had explored it all I was pleasantly surprised about how much privacy and outdoor space it offered. A place where you will have plenty of new neighbours to mix with but can hideaway when you wish to.
You go direct into the kitchen with fitted units and a tiled floor. The real heart of the home is the living room next door, a light spacious room overlooking the courtyard with wood burning stove. There is a double bedroom on the ground floor and the shower room is attractively tiled. The house has a small office next to the lounge. All the décor in the property is new. Stairs go up to the second bedroom. Here there is a dressing room attached that could be connected through to an attic space if further bedrooms were wanted. At present the attic is viewed by climbing some steps at the rear of the house.
The property has a small garden to the front but if you follow the path round one side that accesses the two garages, you will discover a comparatively large garden for the size of house. The central heating boiler is in a small, attached outbuilding. The garages have separate road access and the whole property is therefore quite private and fully enclosed.
The house is located in a pretty village within walking distance of the river Charente and a summer bathing area. The market town of Civray is ten minutes drive away with a choice of shops and places to eat out. Both Poitiers and Angouleme airports are under an hour away.
