Here is another great example of the French dual level home. All the living space above is on one floor, with the practical work areas such as utility room, garage and workshop below. If you are looking for something a bit more modern, this house strikes the right balance on all levels.
The front door is off the south-facing terrace, perfect for sitting out on and watching the world go by. The property is centred a round the light, open plan living area with fitted kitchen; plenty of space for dining and lounging in front of the wood burning stove. The kitchen has attractive units with light blue surround tiles. A corridor leads you to the rest of the rooms. There are three double bedrooms, a modern bathroom and separate WC. With the exception of the bedrooms the rooms have white tiles. The bedrooms have parquet flooring. Stairs lead down to the large boiler room with utility area. Through to the garage are a storeroom and a large tiled room that could be a fourth bedroom or, maintain its present use as a games room. There is also an adjacent workshop and you have a separate building located behind the house for more workshops or garaging, if needed.
The gardens surround the house and are well-maintained lawn with shrubs and small trees. There is even a small wood chalet tucked in part of the garden to amuse the grand children or offer additional storage. There is also plenty of off road parking on the gravel drive.
The village has a bar/restaurant. The town of Sauzé Vaussais is five minutes drive with a supermarket and small shops. Poitiers is under an hour drive away for international rail and air links.
