We don’t get many building plots of this size and when you have uninterrupted views over a rural landscape then that is certainly a bonus too. The plot is on the edge of a hamlet surrounded by agricultural land. One side is bordered by a hedge and lane. The water and electricity are close by and you will have to install an individual system or septic tank for the drainage. The plot is elevated and flat.
Planning permission has been given for a habitation of 165m² foot print. You may wish to do a self-build project yourself. Alternatively, we can liaise on your behalf with any architects and builders you chose to use for this project. As part of the Papillon Properties service we have experience of such projects and can arrange to have the various utility services connected and on-going support for the duration of time that you own the land.
The commune has a boulangerie and a small bar. For general shopping needs the market towns of Civray and Ruffec are both 15 minutes drive away and have restaurants, bars, swimming pools and schools. For international travel you have the choice of Poitiers and Limoges, under an hour away, both of which have train stations and airports providing links to the UK.
