When abandoned cottages or farm buildings are sold off one problem can be the lack of land going with a property. If you are looking for lots of land but don't want an equally large restoration project then this property may be worth a look.
The existing habitation is just one room with an old chimney and a temporary steel roof. There is an attached barn and a further outbuilding with no roof further down the lane. A hangar is attached to the rear of the cottage and what looks like a little pond or water source is hidden away in the undergrowth. As you can see from the photos there is electricity next to the cottage and with other houses close by the water supply will also be easy to connect.
The large plot of land is an overgrown field behind the buildings and bordered by a small lane.
The property is in a small hamlet about 10 minutes drive from the market town of Civray which has a wide selection of commerces, bars and schools. The nearest international airports are Poitiers, Limoges and Angoulême, all about an hour away.
