This house is currently set out as two homes: one for the owners, one for guests. The interiors have been lovingly renovated: modern and traditional. However, it is outside which is really special: a beautiful pool area and views of open countryside as far as the horizon: ‘to infinity and beyond!’
The heart of the main house is the light, spacious kitchen/dining room. I can imagine spending most of my time in here. There is a separate living room. Downstairs is completed by a double bedroom and shower room with WC. Upstairs, there are three further bedrooms – one set out as a study – and a bathroom. The guest house has its own kitchen, living room, downstairs shower room and WC and upstairs two further bedrooms, another bathroom with WC and a shower room.
The gardens are mainly to the front and side of the house. As well as those views there is an enormous, detached outbuilding, a games room for guests, garage and a lovely swimming pool.
The nearest town is Couhé, just five kms away. It has medieval ramparts leading down to the river, a wonderful covered market place and excellent amenities: bars, restaurants, supermarkets, park, tennis courts and a range of schools.
