Constructible parcels of land often come up for sale in less than ideal locations. This generous slice of land (and its almost identical twin, PC2557, also for sale) is situated in the heart of a pretty village, with rural views beyond. One can walk to the bar/restaurant in thirty seconds (I timed it) and a busy little town is a short drive away.
The main picture was taken from the end of the land, looking back to the village street and buildings on the opposite side of the lane. For now, the neighbour’s sheep are keeping the grass cropped. One could choose to have one’s new home facing the village or the countryside; it’s up to you.
The commune retains its popular bar/restaurant on the village crossroads. For all other commerce, the bustling market town of Ruffec is less than ten minutes’ drive away. It has a twice weekly open-air market (Wednesday and Saturday mornings), hotel, restaurants, bars, bakers, hypermarkets, cinema, DIY stores, public baths, hospital, TGV link to Paris and a pavement café culture in the summertime. © |
