If humans were horses and we were put out to grass when we retire this is one place I would be very happy to pass my days. This farmhouse is surrounded by fields and has a courtyard of numerous, useful outbuildings so if you wanted to bring you real equine friends they will have all the shelter they need.
I entered the house into a tiled hallway off which all the rooms of the house are accessed. The kitchen with fitted units and rustic oak balustrade adds to the homely feel of the house. Outbuildings of all shapes and sizes surround the rear of the property and seem in good condition. The garden at the front of the house is laid to a huge lawn with an above ground pool. The field is adjacent to this.
The property is 5kms from the villages of Queaux and Usson giving a choice of small food shops, bars and restaurants. Poitiers and Limoges are an hour’s drive away with access to the airports. © |
