This is just the ticket for a holiday home , or with more work the attached barn could be converted to create a sizeable family home. The garden is a little small but so is the price!
The front door opens into a large lounge with traditional quarry-tiled floor, an insert fire which heats the whole house, and original stone walls. To the rear of this room an extension has been built on to accommodate a kitchen. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a bathroom with wc. The barn has electricity connected and as is often the case in these parts has more potential living space than the house.
The land to the front is communal and to the rear is a small garden overlooking open countryside.
The hamlet has only a handful of houses and no amenities but it is only a few minutes’ drive from a village with a bar, post office and grocer’s shop. For main shopping Magnac Laval is a 10 minute drive or La Souterraine about 25 minutes. Poitiers and Limoges airports have daily services between France and the UK, and either can be reached within in about 90minutes. © |
