Although the middle one of three, this house has such a wonderful aspect from the rear that you could easily forget that you do have neighbours. It is ready to move into but could be improved with an upstairs loo and perhaps conversion of the attic space.
Entry is through a small front courtyard into a hallway, to the immediate right of which is a good size lounge with insert fireplace. To the left is a large kitchen/dining room also with an insert. Further along the hall is a wc and access to the cellar. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one with a shower room, and the other with an adjoining bathroom. Access to the attic is by a slingsby staircase.
To the rear is a lovely garden with mature trees and a magnificent view over to the Monts d’Ambazac. At the far end of the garden is a large two-storey garage/workshop with its own wood-burning stove, and there is additional access to the property to the side of this. A further small plot of land is immediately across the lane to the front.
Nearby Arrenes has no amenities, but it is a short drive into Marsac, which has a small supermarket, several bar/restaurants, a heated swimming pool and even a working railway station. Limoges airport can be reached within an hour via the A20 motorway. © |
