I first visited this barn on a winter’s day and the huge lime tree in the garden was bare, but imagine the wonderful scent it will give in summer. It will give welcome shade too for those al fresco lunches.
There are water and electricity on site, and a new fosse septique has been installed. The rest is up to your imagination. There is a huge 236m2 of space with enough height for a first floor. There are also some small outbuildings which could be included in the accommodation.
The front of the property has a small enclosed garden and overlooks the rest of the hamlet, but at the back there is a large garden, with that lovely lime tree, and views across open countryside.
The hamlet is situated about 3kms from Cherves Chatelars, where there is a baker, a school, a café. The market town of Chasseneuil sur Bonnieure is about 7kms away, and here you will find more shops and supermarkets, as well as a railway link to Angouleme and Limoges. © |
