Though there is work to do to make a comfortable home, this is a good sound property with a new roof and mains drainage, and you can walk to the shops.
The front door opens straight onto a large lounge with wood flooring and built-in cupboards. There is access from this room to the cellar where you can see that the house is built into solid rock. Double doors lead from the lounge to the dining room which also has a nice wood floor and an open fireplace. Then kitchen is large but completely empty apart from the toilet which has been built into one corner. If it doesn’t appeal it could easily be removed to make the kitchen even larger. The attic above the kitchen could be converted into a third bedroom. A lovely old staircase leads from the lounge to two good sized bedrooms, one with en-suite shower and toilet. Though the house is at the side of the road into town, the views from the bedrooms are lovely.
The back door from the kitchen opens onto a small back yard and a courtyard with a large barn which could be used as a garage and a workshop. It’s not very pretty at the moment but you could make a lovely little garden here. There is also a small front garden with fig tree and grape vines and a little stone storeroom.
