Papillon Properties’ Head Office has Moved:

Papillon Properties’ main office in Poitou Charentes has now relocated to the market place in Ruffec. Our new address is 17 place des Martyrs du L’Occupation, a stone’s throw from the Place du Marché. The central location means that we are conveniently situated both for French sellers and for prospective buyers who do not know the region. It will also place us seconds away from one of the area’s most respected notarial offices. Some owners have already popped in and people seem to like the new location.

Parking can be difficult in the centre of Ruffec, particularly on market days (Wednesday mornings: mini-market; Saturday mornings: main market). Mondays tend to be the easiest for parking close by. On other days, it is often best to park on the main Boulevard Duportal road, where there are usually plenty of spaces and no time restrictions. This is only a minute’s stroll from our offices.

All current clients should have received written details about our relocation. If you haven’t, this may be because you have moved and our database has not been updated. Our apologies and do please always update us, even if it is simply that your holiday home has now become a full-time residence.

Despite the relocation, though, nothing else will be changing. Pierre Provost, head of ‘after care’, will be available to answer your queries in person, or by e-mail or telephone. Susan Dixon and Rodney Marshall will remain the first port of call for advice on buying or selling properties in the area. Our new telephone and fax numbers are as follows:
