We will be delighted to welcome you to La Vieille Cure, a beautiful historic 17th century French Vicarage nestled to the rear of the pretty market town of Couhé.
35 kms south of Poitiers in the department of the Vienne and right on the edge of the other 3 departments of the Poitou Charentes - Deux Sèvres, Charentes, and Charentes Maritime - an ideal location to explore the whole of the Charentes.

Previous guests have described La Vieille Cure as a Town and Country House Hotel. A 400 year old home steeped in History, with a warm welcoming ambience, spacious and bright en-suite bedrooms all with an individual décor of their own, all the home comforts of hydro jet massage showers, tea and coffee making facilities, television, hairdryer, and large king size twin, or 4 poster beds with fresh cotton linen.
Rates include continental breakfast.
For your enjoyment there is a large walled garden, swimming pool, exclusive guest lounge, summer kitchen, laundry facilities and summer games room.

The towns of Poitiers, Melle, Lezay, Civray and Ruffec are all within a 20 min car journey.
Situated between the two Papillion offices in the Vienne/Deux Sèvres.
Ideally placed for stopovers en route to the south of France, 20 mins from Biard (Poitiers) Airport with direct flights from Stansted,
15 mins from the TGV,
halfway between the channel ports and the south,
3 minutes from RN10,
3 hours from Paris and 2 hours from Bordeaux.
