Description |
Our home is a charming stone house situated in the small
pretty village of Voulême on the Charente River between the market towns of
Civray and Ruffec.
The beautiful surrounding countryside is excellent for
easy walking and cycling or painting on the banks of the river Charente.
For the more energetic there is canoeing, kayaking, horse riding and
fishing
all close by.

Our aim is to provide a calm tranquil atmosphere - an escape
from the hurly burly of life and an adult chill zone.
We have double and
twin rooms which are very tastefully decorated and furnished in French style
with lovely antique beds, pure Egyptian cotton bed linen and all rooms have
luxury en-suite facilities with showers and central heating in the winter.

We are situated in the south of the Department of Vienne
(86) but close to the borders of Charente and Deux-Sèvres and within easy
reach of the N10.
We are within half an hour of the ancient cities of
Poitiers and Angouleme and between the market towns of Civray and Ruffec.
